About Our Doctor

greg Dr. Camfield has been in private practice in the St. Louis area for 21 years where his emphasis is on advanced restorative and implant dentistry.

Dr. Camfield graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Southern Illinois University’s School of Dental Medicine in 1995. He is currently a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

He has completed requirements for Fellowship in both the International Congress of Oral Implantologist’s and the Academy of General Dentistry. The ICOI fellowship is rewarded for completing 125 hours of Continuing Education in conjunction with live patient surgical instruction in implant dentistry.  The AGD fellowship is rewarded for completing 500 hour of Continuing Education and passing and an extensive exam covering all aspects of dentistry. This advanced education designation is held by less than 7% of dentists nationwide.

In addition, Dr. Camfield has completed three separate one-year post-graduate programs at The Misch International Implant Institute, The Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study and The Schuster Center for Professional Development.

Dr. Camfield was a founding Member of the Gateway Study Club, the St. Louis Chapter of the Seattle Study Club.  The SSC’s goal is to foster comprehensive diagnosis allowing dentists and specialists to work closely together to formulate a patient’s treatment plan. There is a network of Seattle Study Clubs across North America, Europe and Australia involving over 6500 dentists. It has been referred to by some as a “University without Walls”.

Dr. Camfield currently lives in Chesterfield and has three children, Geoffrey, Samantha and Summer.  His wife Julie is a Training Coordinator with the Talent Management Organization at Monsanto. She has her Masters Degree in professional counseling and recently earned her Certificate in Industrial Psychology. His interests include Scuba diving, running, reading, photography, travel and most of all spending time with Julie and his children pursuing many adventures.
